Invitation to Apply for Donation of Computers to Schools

SIDH-Africa is pleased to announce that our organization is requesting for 200 slightly used laptops from its partners and other international and local donors. We intend to donate these computers to support educational initiatives in the local community in Ghana. As part of this initiative, we invite interested Junior High Schools (JHS) and Senior High Schools (SHS) with computer labs to apply for this donation opportunity.

Criteria for Selection:

School must be in need and possess a computer lab facility.
The school must be in a deprived community in Ghana
Each school must have at least one qualified ICT teacher.
The school must be willing to provide accountable feedback on the equipment's usage and impact over 24 months

If your school meets the above criteria and is interested in applying for this donation, please submit your application by 1^st October 2024. The application should include the following information:

School name and address
Contact person and their position
Brief description of the school's computer lab facility
Number of students benefiting from the computer lab
Details of the ICT teacher(s) in the school
Statement of commitment to provide feedback on the equipment's usage and impact.

Our selection committee will review all applications received and select 10 schools based on the abovementioned eligibility criteria. Successful applicants will be notified within 30 days. The equipment presentation to the selected schools is scheduled to take place from the 16th to the 20th of December 2024
